Observed three-compartment sink out of order, with metal ice block molds, glass gallon jugs, and five-gallon containers being stored in the three-compartments. Informed PIC that the three-compartment sink needs to be used for ware washing and not storage. PIC removed the items inside the three-comp sink and moved them to a storage space at time of inspection. Observed the faucet of the sink to be missing and covered with a metal cap, allowing no water to enter the sink. The handles of the sink are calcified and cannot move. Informed PIC that the establishment has no way to wash, rinse, and sanitize the food contact surfaces so ice cream serving must be halted until the three-compartment sink is properly functioning. PIC agreed to stop serving ice cream. Three-compartment sink must be set up and installed properly for use. The three-compartment sink must have access to hot and cold water. Please provide a functioning three-compartment sink prior to re-inspection. Corrective Action: Correct prior to re-inspection on 10/14/2024.
