PlateScore is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Maricopa County or any government body. The county holds the authoritative records. Where our copy and the county's differ, the county's is correct — every establishment page links to its official record.

The 0–100 score is computed by us from published violation counts using the formula set out in our methodology. It is not a county grade. Where an establishment has no county letter grade we show a computed equivalent, marked with a degree symbol (for example B°), derived from the county's own grading matrix.

A score describes past recorded inspections. It is not a prediction, a guarantee about current conditions, or advice about whether to eat somewhere. Conditions change between inspections, and our copy of the data can lag the county's — each page shows when we last checked.

The Top 100 and Top Tables rankings are our own editorial compilation, built from published facts of recognition using disclosed weights. They are not endorsements, and inclusion cannot be bought. The methodology and its limitations are published in full.

Accounts are free and exist to save restaurants and send inspection alerts. You are responsible for the account used to sign in. Alerts are sent on a best-effort basis and depend on when the county publishes results and when our sync retrieves them; they may be delayed or missed, so do not rely on them as a safety notification system.

We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or attempt to disrupt it.

Please do not scrape the site at volume, attempt to break its access controls, or misrepresent our scores as official county ratings. The underlying records are public and available from the county directly.

Michelin, the James Beard Foundation, Forbes Travel Guide, AAA and the publications named on our lists are independent organisations, and their names and marks belong to them. PlateScore is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any of them. We cite the recognitions they have published as facts, each with a link to its source, and nothing more; nothing on this site is their ranking or carries their approval.

The county's inspection record can only be corrected by the county. What we add ourselves — scores, aliases, labels, cited recognitions, venue groupings — we correct or remove on request from the business concerned. The process, and what we will not remove, is set out in how corrections work.

The site is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. We make no guarantee that it is accurate, complete, current or available, and we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of it. Nothing here is legal, health or food-safety advice.

To the fullest extent the law allows, PlateScore and the people who run it are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the site, and our total liability for any claim connected with it is limited to the amount you paid to use it — which is nothing, because it is free. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply only as far as the law permits.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute connected with the site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
