Inspector's notes

Observed hose at mop sink that was directly below flood rim in the mop sink. No backflow prevention device was observed at the hose connected to mop sink water outlet. PIC removed hose from the mop sink outlet and stored above the flood rim of the mop sink at time of inspection. Discussed the importance of proper backflow protection and proper backflow protection measures. Discussed the importance of an air gap or installing a hose bib vacuum breaker other proper backflow protection measures. Provide an approved backflow device prior to next routine inspection. All testable backflow devices must be certified. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.
