Observed facility offer CBD to be added to any drink. Facility obtains CBD from a company and provided documentation from the manufacturer. Observed customer order a drink with CBD and the employee made drink and handed customer a lidded drink and no product was provided to the customer to add themselves. Per PIC the facility should make the drink, employee fill the dropper with CBD and hand to the customer to add it themselves. Discussed with PIC requirements for additives and must be able to prove additivies are GRAS. Corrective Action: Correct prior to next routine inspection.

Observed employee wash hands in the middle compartment of the 3-comp sink and then rinse out a carafe at time of inspection. Employee properly washed hands at handwash sink at time of inspection. Discussed the importance of proper hand washing procedures and proper location for washing hands at time of inspection with the person-in-charge (PIC). Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.

Inspector's notes
Observed deli turkey, deli ham, cream cheese, and various cheeses in small reach-in glass door cooler in back of kitchen at 50-60'F. Observed minimum ambient air temperature at 73-74'F. Per PIC, most items were delivered today or recently out for prep for orders. PIC relocated all food items to commercial standing refrigerator in kitchen to allow for rapid cooling. Discussed with PIC that small cooler observed is not designed for storage of TCS foods and to discontinue use of cooler for storage of TCS items. Also discussed time as a control (provided guidance) and replacing/repairing sandwich prep table. Except during preparation, cooking, cooling or when time is used as a control all TCS foods must be maintained at 41°F or below. Eggs not treated to destroy Salmonellae can be stored in equipment that maintains an ambient air temperature of 45°F or below. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.
