Inspector's notes
Observed hole drilled through the cinderblock wall of the establishment used to run CO2 gas lines from the exterior of the building to the soda fountain station. The hole is large enough to allow pests access to the interior of the building. The establishment shall close any holes in the walls to prevent the attraction and harborage of pests. The manager submitted a work order at the time of inspection. Corrective Action: Correct prior to next routine inspection.

Observed leak underneath the soda fountain machine. At the time of inspection, the establishment had already placed a work order for the leak and had a plumber on site fixing the leak. Per plumber, the leak was originating from the ice machine above the soda fountain. All plumbing must be maintained in good repair at all times. Corrective Action: Correct prior to next routine inspection. Plumber was still in the process of fixing the leak at the end of the inspection.

Observed missing cove base throughout the back storage room of the establishment. The establishment shall provide coved base throughout the establishment to ensure smooth, easily cleanable surfaces along the floor/wall juncture. Corrective Action: Correct prior to next routine inspection. *2nd consecutive violation 6-501.12 - Core: Cleaning, Frequency and Restrictions Addl Notes: Observed accumulation of dirt, dust, and other debris throughout the establishment. Areas of note include along the ceiling and walls of the back storage room, the ceiling and walls of the walk-in refrigerator, and underneath the storage areas of the soda fountain and coffee stations. Physical facility must be cleaned frequently enough to prevent accumulation of dirt, organic matter, and food debris. Must clean physical facility prior to next routine inspection. Corrective Action: Correct prior to next routine inspection. *2nd consecutive violation 6-501.11 - Core: Repairing -Premises, Structures, Attachments, and Fixtures-Methods Addl Notes: Observed holes in the walls connecting the back storage room and soda fountain area. In addition, observed water damage from current and previous water leak incidents along the same wall. The establishment shall repair and close all holes in the wall to restore it to a smooth, easily cleanable surface and prevent the harborage of pests.
