No County legal action will result from this inspection.1. Upon inspection, a remodel has taken place which may require an application and plans to be submitted, and/or additional permits. Observed 2 RO systems and expanded breakfast bar area. PIC stated that a remodel occurred within the past 5 years, involving expanding the breakfast station and removing/installing new hand wash sink, adding a reach-in refrigerator and freezer unit to the second floor food storage. Please submit supporting documentation to inspector. Applications with supporting documentation can be submitted via the customer portal "Permit Center" online at maricopacountyaz-energovweb.tylerhost.net/apps/selfservice#/home. 2. Observed hand sink in kitchen and no prep sink. Informed PIC that hand wash sinks must stay hand wash sinks and cannot be used for food prep. Establishment receives produce that they wash with water before displaying for guests. Informed PIC that a prep sink must be installed for the washing of produce, or they must buy pre-washed produce so that no prep is required. 3. No food preparation was occurring at time of inspection. Facilities inspection was conducted.

No Food Protection Manager was available at time of inspection. Informed PIC that a CFPM is required to be onsite during all hours of operation. A Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) is required to be on the premises during all hours of operation.

Inspector's notes
Observed dry storage foods and single-service items stored in the mechanical room near the coffee station. Foods stored in the room include but are not limited to: shaved coconut, cereal, and produce. Discussed with PIC that food and single-use items for food service cannot be stored in the mechanical room due to risk of contamination during storage. Instructed PIC to move the foods and single-use items to the room on the second story where they are keeping the other foods. Corrective Action: Correct prior to next routine inspection.
