Predefined Comment: Due to the violations noted on this inspection report, County legal action may result from this inspection.Observed construction crew cleaning the floors and hanging signs at time of arrival. Per front desk associate and construction lead a new counter with cabinets was installed across from the main cashier desk. New equipment was installed on the counter including a soda/ice machine with water lines and carbonation lines, two new coffee machines that self grind and pour utilizing installed water lines, a new cappuccino machine and a food warmer/roller. Per employee the remodel started two weeks prior to current inspection date. Informed owner via telephone that he does not currently have an E&D permit required for service of open food. At time of inspection no open food was being prepared. Upon inspection, a remodel has taken place which may require an application and plans to be submitted, and/or additional permits. Please submit an application, supporting documentation, and fees within 10 business days or legal action may result pursuant to MCEHC Chapter 1, Regulation 4(e). Applications with supporting documentation can be submitted via the customer portal "Permit Center" online at maricopacountyaz-energovweb.tylerhost.net/apps/selfservice#/home.
