Inspector's notes
Observed a chemical dispenser directly connected to the main faucet at the maintenance mop sink area of the store. In addition, observed a splitter valve attached to the same faucet at the mop sink connecting the chemical dispenser, a soap dispenser, and hose to the same faucet. The water was turned on with the valve turned to the closed position producing constant pressure on the atmospheric vacuum breaker backflow prevention device. The establishment shall provide a separate, dedicated water line for the chemical dispenser to prevent any cross contamination of the water line. In addition, the establishment shall remove the splitter valve to prevent constant pressure on the backflow prevention device. Corrective Action: Correct prior to next routine inspection.
