Inspector's notes

Observed thick, organic matter on the inside of several soda fountain nozzles at the soda fountain. Person in charge removed the nozzles in question to be washed, rinsed and sanitized at the 3-compartment sink. Discussed with person in charge to clean all soda fountain nozzles daily. All food-contact surfaces must be cleaned to sight and touch. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.

Observed no test strips available for sanitizer. Establishment has chlorine-based sanitizer on hand but according to the person in charge the establishment uses quat sanitizer to clean the soda fountain nozzles. Observed no quat sanitizer testing strips available for the sanitizer. Test strips are required for any sanitizers used with food contact surfaces. Provide sanitizer test strips prior to re-inspection. A re-inspection will occur within 10 days or no later than December 19th, 2024 for sanitizer test strips.
