Inspector's notes
Observed employee in back warewashing area sanitizing a rice cooker pot and a rice scoop in quat sanitizer by quickly submerging the rice cooker pot and scoop in the sanitizer. Total sanitizer contact time was less than 15 seconds. Food contact surfaces must be sanitized per manufacturer recommendations. According to manufacturer directions/ recommendations the food contact surface must be submerged in the sanitizer for at least 1 minute. Employee re-sanitized the rice cooker pot and the scoop for required contact at the time of inspection. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.
