Cease outdoor cooking and remove all unapproved items, clean and maintain the area free of litter and submit an application for a remodel permit for outdoor cooking operations.

Please ensure outer openings are protected from entry of pests by activating air curtains or keeping doors closed. Animal was not addressed by employees and was allowed to come back in more than once. OC Inspection - Permit Approved. Owner replaced 40-gallon water heater with a 50-gallon water heater. Restaurant was not yet operating at time of inspection. Owner provided materials for sneeze guard and stated he plans to install within the next few days. Advised Owner to ensure foods at front kitchen steam table are covered until sneeze guard is installed.This establishment is not participating in the award program at this time and had 0 Priority, 0 Priority Foundation violations on this inspection.A certified food manager is required at time of approval. If not already obtained, please obtain your certified food manager certificate from an ANSI approved testing company. All other food handlers must obtain ANSI approved food handler certificates. This establishment/operation has demonstrated sufficient compliance to proceed with the issuance of the permit. To complete the permitting process, issuance of this permit, and begin operation, the applicant must first submit payment of the annual operating permit fee to the Department’s Administrative Services. Arrived at establishment to conduct an OC Inspection. Restaurant is not open and operating. Conducted inspection with new owner. Restaurant has a prep sink, 3-compartment sink, mop sink, and two handwashing sinks with a 40-gallon water heater. Conducted hot water test with all sinks. Hot water temperature initially was 118 degrees F then dropped to 94 degrees F before all compartments in 3-compartment sink could be filled. Advised owner that a minimum 50-gallon water heater will be needed to supply adequate amounts of hot water.Please correct the following items:1. Install a minimum 50-gallon water heater.2. Install FRP around water heater and seal corners/edges.3. Install sneeze guard in front area near customer pick-up counter that is at least 60 inches high from floor.4. Install coved base in restroom at floor/wall junctures. Install coved base in front kitchen near point of sale area.5. Seal escutcheon plates at mop sink to wall6.
