No County legal action will result from this inspection. This establishment is using a third party (Shift Smart) to handle hot foods (TCS). The employees handling the hot foods at time of inspection said they did not have food handler's cards. Report emailed.
Inspector's notes
Observed an employee with the third-party company used to handle foods switch tasks multiple times without washing hands. Observed the employee wipe the sweat off their brow on their gloves and on a paper towel, then went back to handling food without washing hands and donning new gloves. Also overserved employee donning gloves without handwashing. Also observed employee using their personal cell phone to document every step in the heating and food handling process without washing hands. Inspector was told this is their (third party's) policy to use cell phone to document the process. The cell phone was being handled and stored on the food prep station while actively handling and prepping foods. Employee removed their gloves and re-washed hands before donning new gloves. Discussed the importance of proper hand washing and when hand washing is required with the person-in-charge (PIC). Hands must be washed at any time contamination occurs and when changing tasks. Employee properly washed hands at handwash sink at time of inspection. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.
