Inspector's notes

Establishment has had ongoing rodent issue. Customer observed rodent running across dining area two days prior to the time of inspection. Observed fresh droppings throughout the kitchen and dining areas. Per manager, pest control company has installed multiple motion activated bait stations throughout the kitchen and outside along the perimeter of the building. Kitchen staff is washing, rinsing, and sanitizing food contact surfaces at the beginning of everyday prior to any food preparation. In addition, deep cleaning of the premises to remove droppings and additional harborage elements is occurring daily. Spoke with Director of Operations via telephone and was informed pest control company team will be on site middle of this coming week to re-evaluate strategy for removal of all rodents. Discussed with manager adjusting scheduled night deliveries with food distributor to prevent further introduction of rodents through back door. Also discussed installing multiple traps throughout known high traffic areas of rodents. Corrective Action: Correct prior to next routine inspection.

Onsite visit with Rod and Scott to check on clean up from minor fire earlier this year. Confirmed that fire had very minimal impact on kitchen and that clean up is almost complete. Follow up visit scheduled for 1/3/2024 at 9:30am to ensure final clean up is completed. This establishment can resume operation once final clean up is completed. No County legal action will result from this inspection.

Spoke with manager on phone. Establishment has been closed due to small fire that had minimal impact on expo kitchen. Establishment will be reopening in January 2024. Months of operation have been adjusted to reflect closure. On site visit is schedule with EH supervisor and manager for 12/19/23 at 9:30am to ensure clean up of kitchen is completed.
