Observed a large clear container filled with water sitting below the soda fountain machine. PIC is unsure why the container is there but will find out and dispose of the water. Informed PIC that any leak must be fixed and all waste water must be disposed of down a sanitary drain. Corrective Action: Correct prior to next routine inspection.

Observed the handwashing sink located where the beer is stored being blocked at the time of inspection. Person in charge was able to make the sink accessible at the time of inspection. Handwash sinks must be supplied with hot water of at least 100°F, soap, an approved hand drying provision and accessible at all times. Facilities must be maintained in a condition that promotes handwashing. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection. 2ND REPEAT VIOLATION.

Observed an opened container of garlic in oil being opened with no date marking. Person in charge states it was opened 8 days prior to inspection. RTE/TCS foods requiring date marking must be date marked within 24 hours and sold or discarded after 7 days (including the day it was made/opened as day 1). All RTE/TCS foods past 7 days of preparation/opened were discarded by PIC at the time of inspection. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.

Observed an employee touch their hair while speaking with the inspector, gloved back up and started working with food such as lettuce. Employee was asked to wash their hands before continuing to work with food. Discussed the importance of proper hand washing and when hand washing is required with the person-in-charge (PIC). Hands must be washed at any time contamination occurs and when changing tasks. Employee properly washed hands at handwash sink at time of inspection. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.

Observed in house salsa being stored in a standing cooler with a date marking of 10/27. Person in charge states they made the salsa that day and froze it. They then pulled the salsa from the freezer 3 days prior to the inspection but did not have an updated date marking stamp or pull date. RTE/TCS foods requiring date marking must be date marked within 24 hours and sold or discarded after 7 days (including the day it was made as day 1). Also, TCS foods pulled from the freezer must have an updated date marking or pull date to ensure it is used within 7 days. All RTE/TCS foods were properly date marked at the time of inspection. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.
