At time of inspection found several cans dented along the hermetic seal. PIC separated the damaged cans. A designated area will be used to store damaged cans until removal from the establishment. Swollen, rusted and cans dented on any of the 3 can seams (top, bottom, side) or deep, sharp dents should be considered unsafe. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.

Inspector's notes

Observed Y-valve or side kick attached to mop sink faucet that has an AVB; one side was connected directly to the chemical dispenser and one side was connected to a hose that was hanging in the mop sink. Explained to PIC that the AVB valve is not designed to be continuously under pressure and that there shouldn't be any obstructions downstream from the AVB valve. This could result in the backflow prevention device to fail. PIC disconnect Y-valve at time inspection and recommended installing a dedicated water line for the chemical dispenser. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.
