Inspector's notes

Observed frozen liquid icicles hanging from the fan in the walk-in freezer. The frozen liquid has dripped and covered and contaminated bags of ice, spring rolls, Helades Mexican cream candies, and garlic Texas toast. Embargoed the listed items and person in charge (PIC) placed signs above the items stating to discard. The frozen liquid is too thick to be able to move the items at the time. PIC will discard as soon as they are able to reach product. Discussed with PIC the frozen liquid may have other chemicals and the cause for the icicles may be due to a leak. Discussed with PIC to repair, fix or replace the cause of the leak. Also observed boxes of foods stored directly on the ground in the walk-in freezer. Discussed with PIC all food shall be stored 6 inches off the ground to prevent contamination. PIC located food 6 inches off the ground at time of inspection. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.
