Upon request, no procedures for the clean-up of vomit and diarrhea incidents was provided. Per person in charge (PIC), there is no bodily spill kit on site. Written procedures for clean-up of vomiting and diarrheal events is required onsite at all times. Provided PIC with Maricopa County Guidance for Creating a Vomit and Diarrhea Clean-up Plan via email. Inspector's notes
Observed handwashing sink in the back near the oven without stocked paper towels. PIC provided hand drying provision for handwash sink at time of inspection. Handwash sinks must be supplied with hot water of at least 100°F, soap and an approved hand drying provision at all times. Facilities must be maintained in a condition that promotes handwashing. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection. 6-301.14 - Core: Handwashing Signage. For a permanent fix to this violation, check out these simple tools in our Active Managerial Control Toolbox, made especially for you. https://www.maricopa.gov/4573/AMC-Toolbox: Handwashing. Addl Notes: Observed handwashing sinks in the back next to the oven and near the registers without signage indicating them as handwashing sinks. Provided person in charge with Maricopa County handwashing stickers to place at sinks. A sign or poster that notifies food employees to wash their hands shall be provided at all handwashing sinks used by food employees and shall be clearly visible to food employees.
