The establishment has had multiple visits/treatments from their pest control services. No live German cockroaches were observed inside the establishment at the time of inspection. Recommended the establishment continue cleaning and removing deceased pests as treatments continue to work. Will follow up at next routine inspection.

Inspector's notes
Observed significant gaps along the bottom and sides of the back door to the establishment. The establishment shall maintain all outer openings sealed and protected to prevent the attraction and harborage of pest species. Corrective Action: Correct prior to next routine inspection. 6-501.111 (C) - Priority Foundation: Controlling Pests; Approved Trapping Methods/Existence Addl Notes: Observed significant number of both adult and juvenile cockroaches throughout the establishment including in the basement, along the sides of equipment near the 3-compartment sink, and inside storage areas including cabinets. The establishment is aware of the issue and has pest control services out multiple times. Observed many glue traps with significant numbers of cockroaches on them. Establishment must be maintained free of pests and all pest control measures must be conducted by a licensed pest control specialist. Must eliminate current pest control problem and obtain pest control from a certified and licensed pest control specialist by re-inspection. *Reinspection scheduled for Friday, April 17th.

Observed three pieces of foam near the blenders. PIC stated they use the foam for a sound barrier for around the blenders. Discussed that nonfood contact surfaces need to be smooth, non-porous and easily cleanable. Ensure the foam is removed and that a material is used that is smooth and easily cleanable. Corrective Action: Correct prior to next routine inspection.
