Observed unlabeled spray bottles with clear sanitizer solution at a quat strength of 500ppm. Staff could not identify liquid and stated solution was used to clean food contact surfaces. All liquids must be correctly labeled with its contents. Quaternary sanitizer used for food contact surfaces must be at a strength of 150-400ppm for proper and safe sanitation to prevent contamination. Management stated solution is dispensed from laundry chemical dispenser and removed bottles from area. Discussed the usage of sanitizer strips. PRIORITY VIOLATION-7-204.11 - Priority: Sanitizers, Criteria-Chemicals Predefined Comment: Discussed approved use of sanitizers with the person-in-charge (PIC). Sanitizer must be used at concentrations and in an approved manner per manufacturer instructions, 40 CFR 180.940, and 40 CFR 180.2020. Predefined Comment: Chemicals must be stored away from food, utensils, and single service items at all times to prevent contamination. All chemicals were relocated and properly stored by PIC at time of inspection.
