Observed black fuzzy material collecting inside and on guards of ceiling fans in walk-in refrigerator. Discussed with person in charge cleaning frequency and scheduling to ensure no material is blown down into open containers of drink product. Physical facility must be cleaned frequently enough to prevent accumulation of dirt, organic matter, and food debris. Must clean physical facility prior to next routine inspection. Observed a couple of ice scoops stored with the handle not facing directly upwards inside of some ice bins. Person in charge stored the ice scoop handle-up. In-use utensils must be stored in a clean, dry location; in running water; or in hot water above 135°F. If utensils are stored in food, the handles must be stored above the surface of the food. All in-use utensils were properly stored at time of inspection. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.

Observed several hand washing sinks without soap and another hand washing sink without paper towels. Person in charge replenished the paper towels and soap for the sinks. Discussed with person in charge to regularly check hand sinks for soap and paper towels and to replenish promptly once empty. Handwash sinks must be supplied with hot water of at least 100°F, soap and an approved hand drying provision at all times. Facilities must be maintained in a condition that promotes handwashing. Store is okay to open.This establishment/operation has been evaluated and qualifies for the issuance of the permit. To complete the permitting process, meaning issuance of this permit, and begin operation, the applicant must first submit payment of the annual operating permit fee to the Department’s Administrative Services. Note that fees paid up to this inspection approval did not include the annual operating permit fee. PAYMENT with a credit/debit card can be made via phone at 602-506-6824, Option 2. Payment with a credit/debit card can be made on-line via select “Pay a Fee” at esd.maricopa.gov. Pre-final inspection walk through with superintendent. Store is about 95% completion. The following items were discussed for final inspection:1). Please make sure all drain lines are leak proof.2). Dual check valves that meet plumbing standard ASSE 1022 are being installed for the beverage machines and hot water dispensers.3). Booster pumps will be placed on shelves and water lines ziptied up off the floor so the floor is easily cleanable.4). All fly fans will be adjusted to 3-4% outward.5). Please tighten up the loose base in the walk-in, to the east of the entrance door.6). Please touch up caulk at mop sink at the wall juncture and provide a flush bead of caulk or beveled away from the wall.7). Provide hot water at all sinks and make sure re-circulation pump is running.8). Please caulk around the exterior fire hydrant outlets or install escutcheons.No County legal action will result from this inspection.Printed on site for superintendent.
