MCEHC Chap. 8, Sec. 2, Reg. 5a - Latex gloves may not be used in direct contact with food. Predefined Comment: Latex gloves are not approved for food handling. Latex gloves cannot be used in contact with food due to allergen risk. Nitrile, Poly or vinyl gloves are approved glove types for handling foods. Latex gloves were not observed to be in direct contact with food. Instructed person in charge to discontinue use of latex gloves in food establishment. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.
