Observed some organic matter build-up inside of the large ice machine. Discussed with person in charge to clean the ice machine on a more regular basis. Person in charge will have the ice machine cleaned. All food-contact surfaces must be cleaned to sight and touch. Corrective Action: Correct prior to next routine inspection.

Inspector's notes

Observed employee that was making sandwiches at the sandwich make line. The employee was observed completing a transaction at the counter and then they removed their gloves and without washing their hands first, went and grabbed new gloves to then go and continue making sandwiches. Discussed with the person in charge that anytime we change tasks or contamination to the hands occurs, such as when handling currency for example, the hands must be washed prior to returning to work with the food. The employee removed their gloves and washed their hands. Discussed the importance of proper hand washing and when hand washing is required with the person-in-charge (PIC). Hands must be washed at any time contamination occurs and when changing tasks. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.
