Observed a variety of milk in beverage refrigerator with an internal temperature ranging 47-48*F. Open display case holding fruit plates, cheese plates, parfaits, and elote cups with internal temperature ranging 47-49*F. Units holding ambient temperatures of 41*F and below. Sunlight comes in and hits units at clear panels affecting the temperatures of the foods in its direct path. Person in charge stated they will be adjusting the operating hours of cafe during the summer. Person in charge had employee discard of all food items. PRIORITY VIOLATION-3-501.16(A)(2) and (B) - Priority: Time/Temperature Control for Safety Food, Cold Holding. Observed a variety of milks being cooled in beverage refrigerator. Beverage refrigerator are made to hold foods at 41*F and below, and does not have the capacity to cool foods down.
