Core-3-501.13, C: Thawing Observed frozen chicken (internal temperature 30F) in a plastic bag resting in a plastic container near the back of establishment. Per PIC, food was thawing for less than an hour. Informed PIC that food that is being thawed shall be held under running water to effectively and safely facilitate the thawing process.
