Site visit to check on existing production equipment to be moved to the new location at 601 S. 54th St., Chandler, AZ. Noted plastic conveyor belt at the packaging are broken off. Please ensure all food equipment must be durable, smooth, non-absorbent and easily clean and meet NSF standard for food production equipment. All surface of trough, hopper must have 3/8" radius at corners. Welding seams must be smooth and flushed with the surface. Screws must be flushed with the surface. No extrusion inside/ outside of equipment.

Inspector's notes

Observed quaternary ammonium (Quat) sanitizer levels above 400ppm actively being used at the three-compartment sink. Observed employee using long gloves to wash dishes. Discussed with person in charge (PIC) Sanitizer must be used at concentrations (150ppm to 400ppm) and in an approved manner per manufacturer instructions, 40 CFR 180.940, and 40 CFR 180.2020. PIC diluted the Quat sanitizer and reached 200ppm at time. Also discussed with PIC when washing dishes to use gloves for soap, rinse and sanitizing, but will need to wash hands and pull clean dishes with clean hands to prevent recontamination of the dishes. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.
