Of note: Observed multiple cartons of unpasteurized hard-shelled eggs in reach-in refrigerator. Advised person in charge (PIC) that when serving a HSP (Highly Susceptible Population) only pasteurized eggs must be used, except when baking or hard-boiling. PIC stated the unpasteurized shelled eggs were purchased this morning while they were awaiting their shipment order and residents were only offered fully cooked scrambled eggs.Case of pasteurized eggs received and in walk-in at the time of inspection. The PIC stated the remaining unpasteurized shelled eggs will be hard boiled.

Handwash sinks must be supplied with hot water of at least 100°F, soap and an approved hand drying provision at all times. Facilities must be maintained in a condition that promotes handwashing.
