Inspector's notes

Observed ice in the basin on the hand wash sink in the bar. Also observed the hand wash sink in the back to be blocked with rolling carts and was also without paper towel. Discussed with person in charge (PIC) handwash sinks must be supplied with hot water of at least 100°F, soap and an approved hand drying provision at all times. Facilities must be maintained in a condition that promotes handwashing. PIC will ensure establishment discontinues use of handwash sink for all activities that are not for handwashing. PIC relocated all items blocking handwash sinks and supplied paper towels at time of inspection. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.

Inspector's notes

Observed containers of Jello shots stored in the ice wells and observed ice used to make drinks. Discussed with PIC ice used as an exterior coolant may not be used as an ingredient in any food/drinks. PIC relocated the Jello Shots to an unused well with ice and a sign stating "ice not for human consumption". The ice in the wells for human consumption was burned and replaced at time of inspection. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.

Due to the violations noted on this inspection report, County legal action may result from this inspection.Upon inspection, a remodel has taken place which may require an application and plans to be submitted, and/or additional permits. Please submit an application, supporting documentation, and fees or legal action may result pursuant to MCEHC Chapter 1, Regulation 4(e). Applications with supporting documentation can be submitted via the customer portal "Permit Center" online at maricopacountyaz-energovweb.tylerhost.net/apps/selfservice#/home. Upon arriving, this establishment's outside bar is open to the public and operating. RM-09262 was closed out for no permit activity. Outside bar is operating like the bar located inside by scooping ice, serving opened drinks, making ice drinks and storing beers, liquors and oranges. Establishment shall discontinue operation of the outside bar and by law should not be operating without the approval of the county. Person in charge was given the link of the application via report and email.
