Any substance(s) added to food must be GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) and/or used consistent with all legal requirements. The permit holder is responsible for ensuring that their menu items comply. This establishment was found to be using Kratom or THC as a food ingredient. The Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) is the agency responsible for regulating the use of Kratom and THC in food. You must contact ADHS to obtain information on requirements related to these products. No CFPM has been documented numerous times in previous inspections. Upon addressing issue of juicer sanitizing intervals and establishments attempt to use time control by the hour on cut leafy green product, it was discovered that temperature abuse is occuring were product is being rotated and saved after time has expired and not discarded.
