Observed establishment offering multiple dietary supplements added to their smoothies that contain ingredients not currently considered to be Generally Recognized As Safe (GRAS) by the FDA. Observed MRM's Nutrition "Relax-All" (containing Ashwagandha Root Extract and Rafuma Leaf Extract). In addition, observed supplements from previous inspection (SEE INSP-218612-2025: Thermoxyn Elite by iForce Nutrition (containing caffeine and guarana), T-Bolic by iForce Nutrition (containing multiple mushrooms like Lion's Mane, Cordyceps, and Turkey Tail and Ashwagandha), and Brain Waves by Black Magic (containing Ashwagandha, Lion's Mane mushroom, and caffeine). still being offered to customers, but separately with smoothie orders. Per person in charge, a customer can order the supplement with their smoothie order. The smoothie is prepared without the supplement and individual capsules are taken from the supplement's original container and handed to customer for customer's personal use. Individual capsules are not prepackaged from supplier. The ingredients found in these products are not currently considered GRAS (generally recognized as safe) by the FDA. Any substance(s) added to food must be GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) and/or used consistent with all legal requirements. The permit holder is responsible for ensuring that their menu items comply. Education was provided on the addition of food additives and dietary supplements during the inspection.
