Final construction inspection. Construction about complete. Superintendent will follow up on the items below before turning the store over.1). Corner guard will be installed on the wall behind front hood.2). Back hood will be caulked on side and underside with silver caulk.3). Flooring will be finished up at the office door, both sides of the door.4). Back of the back room hood has an opening that will be flashed off.5) Water connection to the hood cleaning system will be moved to the backflow valve in place at the mop sink.For ownership, when eco-lab comes out please make sure they install units that have a full air gap in the backflow housing.This establishment/operation has been evaluated and qualifies for the issuance of the permit. To complete the permitting process, meaning issuance of this permit, and begin operation, the applicant must first submit payment of the annual operating permit fee to the Department’s Administrative Services. Note that fees paid up to this inspection approval did not include the annual operating permit fee. PAYMENT with a credit/debit card can be made via phone at 602-506-6824, Option 2. Pre-final walk through with the superintendent. The following items were discussed:1). Install an expandable plug in the floor sink under the refrigerator next to the north hood.2). Silicone ice bins at the counter junctures, both.3). Mount escutcheon for hand wash sink drain line front service area.4). Line prep sink drain line up with the floor sink, cut a hole in the drain grate so water does not splash sideways.5). Wall cap at glass panel will be caulked at juncture with wall.6). Finish out base at door way office, both sides.7). Reduced Pressure Zone backflow valve hub drain will need to line up with floor sink and can not drip on other pipes.8). The drain grates under the dish washer and the three compartment sink have been cut in. After dish washer is set up check to make sure openings are big enough.9). Finish out the openings around the drain lines where going through the walls, at soda station, drive through soda station, under dish washer, etc. 10). Fill in the penetrations through the ceiling around the sprinklers in the walk-in and walk-in freezer.11). After hoods are in place the hoods will be caulked at the back wall junctures with silver caulk. Caulk horizontally and vertically.12). Concrete platform for grease barrels will be caulked at the wall junctures.13). Finish out the stainless cutout edge of the south side drive through soda station. Ideally the gap is sealed so nothing can get under the floor platform. Corner trim or caulk and smooth out the stainless edge, with FRP trim or file down.19). Finish the edges of the floor sinks under the three compartment sink, pre wash station, trench drain and next to front hood. Provide a beveled edge that is durable and cleanable. Transition floor edge / floor sink needs to be durable and cleanable. All these sinks were set too low.20). Provide backflow test report for back flow valve upstream of the soda system and hood cleaning system.22). Silicone the splash guards to the counter at the front hand sinks.23). Front service sink will need to drain to the floor sink in the front service area.24). Dining room soda station drain line is supposed to be braced to the wall, then led to the height of the floor sink and then forward so you provide a 1 inch air gap and the pipe is not on the floor. 25). Note that the PVC drain pipe did not line up with the abs drain pipe under the soda station, it might disconnect again, best is to cut a small piece of PVC pipe and insert into the elbow down so the pipe can not pop out of the ABS drain.26). Adjust water heater vet stacks and make sure they are in place and don't move.27). Finish out the soda chase line under the south side drive through counter, maybe foam, dry cut flush and finish out with caulk. Openings into the wall interior need to be finished out, same for refrigeration chase behind large ice machine, still missing some caulk on the under side of the chase.28). Front prep sink spray assembly is missing a uni-strut and is leaking at the connection.29). Restroom, toilet angle stop is leaking.30). Drive through windows air curtains will be sensor driven. To be installed.At time of final inspection provide hot / tempered water at all sinks. All refrigeration will need to be on and holding at proper temperatures.Final inspection set for 9 AM Tuesday the 21st.No County legal action will result from this inspection.E-mailed report to superintendent.

Pre-final walk through with the superintendent. The following items were discussed:1). Install an escutcheon plate on the water line next to the north hood.2). Install an expandable plug in the floor sink under the refrigerator next to the north hood.3). Reduced Pressure Zone backflow valve will be installed for the soda system. Install with hub drain and install at max 5 feet from the floor. Valve will require testing and certification.4). Cut back condensate line of the walk-in and install elbow down.5). Install a trap seal in the new hub drain created for the ice well at the cooks line.6). The drain grates under the dish washer and the three compartment sink will need to be cut in.8). Drain lines will need to be installed for ice machines, soda station south side and dishwasher.9). Front service sink will need to drain to the floor sink in the front service area.10). Silicone the ice wells at the counter junctures.11). Pepsi drains under the dining room soda counter needs to be installed. Install stand pipe in which the flex hose can be placed. The rigid part of the drain line will need to run trough the wall to the floor sink, following gravity flow and air gap. Brace properly to the wall and install escutcheon plates to cover up the wall penetrations. Accommodate for ice machine drain as well. 12). The drain line under the drive through soda station will need to finished out, Repair holes/ patch and provide smooth and easily cleanable surface.13). After hoods are in place the hoods will be caulked at the back wall junctures with silver caulk. Caulk horizontally and vertically.14). Concrete platform for grease barrels will be caulked at the wall junctures.15). Concrete platform for grease barrel will be repaired where damaged.16). All penetrations through the walk-in walls / ceiling will be filled in and finished out smooth on the inside. Mostly sprinklers. Not sure of electric and refrigeration lines were sealed, they too need to be.17). Install all missing cam hole plugs in the walk-in.18). Finish out the stainless cutout edge of the south side soda station. Ideally the gap is sealed so nothing can get under the floor platform. 19). Finish the edges of the floor sinks under the three compartment sink and pre wash station. Provide a beveled edge that is durable and cleanable.20). Three compartment sink and dish wash gutter will be mounted to the wall and caulked. See if you can straighten out the dish wash gutter.21). Provide backflow test report for testable back flow valves.22). Silicone the splash guards to the counter at the front hand sinks.23). Front service sink will need to drain to the floor sink in the front service area.At time of final inspection provide hot / tempered water at all sinks. Walk through conducted with regional manager, superintendent, vice president. The following items were discussed:1). Separate water line will be installed at the mop sink. It will be a cold feed, down the wall, surface mount with a T off about 5 feet (facing south) for the misting system and faucet at the end.2). On the T at the new water line install a reduced pressure zone with hub drain, brass is fine. Install with hub drain and lead to the floor sink,3). On the hood wall, where the floor sink is missing, bring out a 3/4 inch drain line and install with P trap and reducer so you can capture the water from the cold well indirect.4). A the back drive through station, cut through the floor of the cabinet and create an opening the size of the floor sink. Make sure to finish out edges and close the gap between the cabinet floor and the pedestal.5). Drain line from the soda station will need to be led to the floor sink under the ice machine. Use rigid pipe, properly brace off the floor along the wall and maintain gravity flow. Finish out wall penetrations and keep a 1 inch air gap.6). Same for drain of the east side drive through soda station.7). Provide a full size drain grate for the floor sink in the middle of the back room.No County legal action will result from this inspection.E-mailed report.

First inspection for the Freddy's/ Walk trough with the superintendent. The following items were discussed:1). Drainage will be provided for the cold well next to the center wall hood.2). A separate water line will be provided at the mop sink for possible future chemical dispensers.3). An RPZ backflow valve will be installed upstream of the soda system. Install with hub drain and lead to a floor sink. Do not install copper downstream. Install between 12 inches and 5 feet from the floor.4). Soda station (dining room and north side drive through) will need to be punched through the walls. Make sure to run the lines rigid, maintain gravity flow, brace off the wall and finish out wall penetrations.5). Also finish out the ice machine refrigeration wall penetration.6). Brewer on dining room counter will require a dual check valve that meets plumbing standard ASSE 1022 upstream.7). Access will be provided to the floor sink under the south side drive through counter.8). If the floor sink remains center kitchen then provide a full drain grate.9). FRP is starting to bubble in the dish wash area.10). One of the hoods has a self cleaning system. Provide a RPZ at the water connection to the self cleaning system and install like noted under item 3. Note that if there is a dedicated RO system involved the backflow valve will needs to be moved to before the RO system.11). For the front counter east wall, inside cabinet, if the floor is open to the back wall then please caulk the inside joint with the wall.12). Self closers will be installed on the restroom doors.13). Micro switches will be installed for the drive through air curtains.Next inspection should be scheduled for somewhere in the next two weeks.No County legal action will result from this inspection.E-mailed to the superintendent.
