Inspector's notes
Observed a Y-valve connected to the mop sink faucet, with connections to a hose and chemical dispenser. Y-valves are not approved per plumbing code. Shut offs, including chemical dispensers and sprayer nozzles, are not approved for continuous installation downstream from atmospheric vacuum breakers. PIC removed shut-off and y-valve downstream from atmospheric vacuum breaker at time of inspection. Please stub out a separate water line for the chemical dispenser so it is not connected to the mop sink faucet. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.
