Predefined Comment: No County legal action will result from this inspection.Discussed the Reverse Osmosis system that has been installed in the kitchen. The RO system can be removed and replaced with an in-line water filter or has the following requirements which must be approved prior to installation: 1) Replumb the drain line into an approved funnel drain with a 1-inch air gap. Provide a rigid drain line. Current set-up draining into the tailpiece of the sink is not approved. 2) Provide an ASSE 1013 RPZ backflow device (recommend stainless steel housing) upstream of the water system. Do not install any copper or brass downstream of the backflow device. Provide a funnel drain below the relief valve of the RPZ backflow device and drain to the floor sink. 3) Test and certify the RPZ backflow device and provide the test report.

Emailed the New Owner folder. Per the final Plan Review inspection: install vinyl cove base in the mop sink closet, in the water heater closet, and at the cabinet/floor junction. Also, seal the sides and wood under the laminate countertops. Discussed purchasing a probe thermometer. Hand washing soap and paper towels must be immediately available for hand washing in the kitchen. Emailed the cleaning procedures for vomit/fecal accidents for posting in the kitchen and info for Food Manager certifications.No County legal action will result from this inspection.
