Inspector's notes

Observed worker washing hands for ~5 seconds before terminating hand wash procedure and turn off faucet with clean hand. Worker was stopped and instructed to lather with soap for about 15 seconds for a total of 20 seconds from start to finish and use a paper towel to turn off faucet. Discussed the importance of proper hand washing procedures with the person-in-charge (PIC). Proper handwashing procedure is to rinse hands with warm water, scrub with soap for 10-15 seconds, rinse with warm water, dry with approved drying provision, and turn off in a manner to prevent re-contamination of hands. Entire process should take approximately 20 seconds for full and proper handwashing to prevent spread of pathogens and contamination. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.

Inspector's notes

Observed gaps in seal between hood ventilation and wall. Recaulk the ventilation hood gaps, as needed, with a high temperature, aluminum based silicone. All equipment must be maintained in good repair at all times. Repair all equipment to a state of good repair prior to next routine inspection. Corrective Action: Correct prior to next routine inspection. 2nd repeat violation.

Inspector's notes

Observed 3-compartment sink sprayer dangling inside rinse compartment. Reinstall the sprayer faucet at the three compartment sink so that it is provided with a 1" minimum air gap above the sink flood rim at all times. Corrective Action: Correct prior to next routine inspection. 2nd repeat violation.
