Inspector's notes

Corrective Action: Correct prior to re-inspection. 1. Provide a reduced pressure zone (RPZ) assembly (ASSE1013) at the water connection point of the soda carbonator. Conduits and fittings after the RPZ must be stainless steel or PEX only. Provide a drain cup for the vent port of the device. Drainpipes must be rigid and indirectly discharge to the nearest floor sink with minimum 1" air gap from the finished floor. 2. Provide a vented dual check valve (ASSE 1022) at the water connection point of each coffee/ tea brewer and coffee machine. 3. Noted water is leaking at the atmospheric vacuum breaker (AVB). Please repair/ replace the AVB. 4. Noted sump pump was installed for the new installed reach-in freezer. Person in charge does not know where the sump pump is pumping the condensation liquid to. Please provide discharge information. Do not directly plumbed the sump pump to the sewer. 5. Noted the sprayer arm and the faucet connections at the 3-comp sink is leaking. Please repair/ replace. 6. Noted the establishment installed a new above ground grease interceptor without obtaining a remodel permit from MCESD. Fee has been assessed with a minor remodel. Please pay for the remodel application fee. 7. Provide a hub drain or riser for the new drainpipe of the 3-comp sink. See attached pictures with the report. 8. Noted the faucet of the 3-comp sink does not fully reach all 3 compartments. Please re-adjust the faucet and sprayer arm connection so the faucet can reach all 3 compartments. 9. Noted one of the restrooms is converted into a dry storage area. However, the toilet is still installed, and the hand sink's faucet is not operable. Remove broken hand sink and toilet. Cap off water connection and sewer connection. 10. Hot water at front service hand sink, prep sink and hand sink in the restroom do not have adequate hot water. Hot water at front service hand sink is at 95*F, 80*F at prep sink and 75*F at restroom's hand sink. Please install recirculation pump on the water heater to ensure hot water will be at point of service within 45 seconds upon activation.

Corrective Action: Correct prior to re-inspection. 1. Noted accumulation of debris under shelving units, inside cabinets, inside walk-in cooler and freezer. Please clean frequently to prevent accumulation of debris. 2. Noted ice bag is stored directly on the floor of the walk-in freezer. Provide shelving or stands to ensure all products are at least 6 inches off the floor. 3. Noted organic matter forming on the walls, ceiling and fan grids inside walk-in unit. Please clean and maintain. 4. Noted ceiling tiles and vents have accumulated dirt. Please clean vents and ceiling tiles. Have HAVAC unit service and/ or change air filter often. 5. Caulk and seal all gaps, cracks, penetrations on walls, concrete floor inside walk-in cooler, between equipment, around pipe penetrations, etc. 6. Provide new door sweeps for exterior doors.
