Inspector's notes

Observed chemical dispenser connected to the main faucet at the mop sink via a y-valve downstream of the atmospheric vacuum breaker (AVB) backflow prevention device. At the time of inspection the water was turned on, subjecting the AVB to constant pressure. The establishment shall provide a separate, dedicated water line for its chemical dispenser and shall remove the y-valve to prevent the degradation of the AVB device. Corrective Action: Correct prior to next routine inspection.
