Inspector's notes
Observed a sizable leak with water pooling on the floor in the front of the soda machines and behind the wall near underneath the boxes of soda concentrate. The manager had already placed in a work order for the leak and the technician was onsite. The technician confirmed the leak was due to a clog inside of the two self-service soda machines. EHS requested the soda machines be turned off, until fixed, to limit the water pooling onto the floor. Discussed the importance of keeping equipment in good repair and in keeping the floors dry. Corrective Action: Correct prior to next routine inspection.
