Observed food employee wash hands in 3-compartment sink. Hands shall be washed in a handwashing sink or approved automatic handwashing facility. Hands shall not be washed in 3-compartment sink, food prep sink, or in mop sink. Person in charge (PIC) spoke with employee about which sink could be used for handwashing and employee properly washed hands at handwash sink at time of inspection. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.

Inspector's notes
Observed food employee use bare hand to take a food topping off of a baked ready-to-eat (RTE) pizza. Bare hand contact is not approved with RTE food items. Wash hands per code and shall not contact exposed RTE foods with bare hands and shall use suitable utensils such as deli tissue, spatulas, tongs, single-use gloves, or dispensing equipment. Discussed the importance of preventing bare hand contact with RTE foods with PIC. RTE pizza that was contacted by bare hand was embargoed and recommended for discarded at time of inspection. Per PIC, RTE pizza contacted by bare hand was set aside for personal consumption. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.

All pest control for the establishment shall be performed by a certified pest control specialist and chemicals for pest control must not be stored onsite. Person in charge (PIC) removed pest control chemicals from premises at time of inspection. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.
