Inspector's notes
Observed missing and water-damaged ceiling tiles in the back of the establishment. Also observed dust buildup on the bathroom vent, which was not able to turn on at the time of inspection. Staff stated the vent will work if jostled. Proper repair is required. Ceilings to be maintained intact, smooth and wipeable. Vents to be maintained in working order. Corrective Action: Correct prior to next routine inspection.

Discussed with the manager that ice packaged in the establishment for sale shall be labeled with the following information: 1) Name of Product; 2) Processor Name; 3) Processor Address or Phone Number; 4) Ingredients; 5) Approximate weight; 6) In English. Per Manager, they are currently awaiting shipment of their labels. Corrective Action: Correct prior to next routine inspection.

Observed heavy black build-up on the internal compartment of the ice machine. Alerted the manager who started to defrost the machine to clean it, at time of inspection. Staff stated they would use prepackaged ice for consumer drinks until they could clean their main ice machine. Discussed ice machine cleaning frequency with staff. Corrective Action: Correct prior to next routine inspection.

No chlorine test strips were available on site at time of inspection. Person in charge ordered test strips while EHS was onsite. A limited supply of test strip was given to the establishment so they can use them until their shipment arrives on Saturday (5/4/2024).
