Observed individually wrapped plastic spoons with candied food displayed for sale at the front counter, with no food labels. The person in charge was unable to identify what type of candied food it was and stated the food items are removed from bulk to be sold individually. Discussed the food item was not labeled for individual retail sale and the person in charge removed the food item from sale at the time of inspection.

Observed water supply back flow prevention device inside water funnel with no air gap. The back flow prevention device was not being properly supported by wall brackets allowing it to fall into the funenel. Discussed maintaing equipment in good repair and ensuring a 1inch air gap betwee back flow device and water funnel.

Corrective Action: Correct prior to re-inspection. 4-502.11(A) and (C) - Core: Good Repair and Calibration-Utensils and Temperature and Pressure Measuring Devices Addl Notes: Observed in use ice cream scoop in state of disrepair at the back ice cream freezer. The ice cream scoop had metal degredation and rust covering the food contact surface. The person in charge discarded the ice cream scoop at the time of inspection. Discussed utensils shall be maintained in a state of repair or condition that complies with the requirements specified under parts 4-1 and 4-2 or shall be discarded. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.
