Observed single-packaged cardboard boxes of chicken pot pies with their packaging damaged and food contents exposed put up for sale in the walk-in,display freezer. As per Person in Charge (PIC), they were likely exposed to water damage from the defrosting walk-in,display freezer's condenser. PIC discarded all contaminated foods. Discussed with PIC to clean up ice build up and move product away from the condenser to prevent possible contamination. Food packages shall be in good condition and protect the integrity of the contents so that the food is not exposed to adulteration or potential contaminants. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.

Inspector's notes
Observed live roach in ice machine in back of establishment by three compartment sinks. Observed many dead roaches in open traps in cabinets and under soda dispensing machines. Discussed with PIC about having pest control applicator increase the frequency of replacing traps and using enclosed traps. Establishment must be maintained free of pests and all pest control measures must be conducted by a licensed pest control specialist. Must eliminate current pest control problem and obtain pest control from a certified and licensed pest control specialist by re-inspection on Tuesday, 9/22. Corrective Action: Correct prior to re-inspection on Tuesday, 9/22.
