PRIORITY VIOLATION-3-201.11 (A-B), P: Compliance with Food Law; Approved Source. For a permanent fix to this violation, check out these simple tools in our Active Managerial Control Toolbox, made especially for you. https://www.maricopa.gov/4619/AMC-Toolbox---Approved-Source.>>>Observed individual packaged containers of cooked natural pinto beans, cooked chipotle beans, and cooked party beans in the display case located by the agua fresca stand and in the standing refrigerator by the produce section at time of inspection. Person in charge (PIC) states the product is delivered once a week by the individual provider and was able to show invoice stating how much of the item is sold to the establishment. PIC was unable to provide FDA registration number and other information necessary to be able to provide and sell products imported from out of the country. Explained to PIC that all food supply must come from a permitted vendor or FDA approved vendor in order to sell at establishment. All packaged bean products were removed from the sale floor and were placed on an embargo and set aside in the back retail walk-in with a sign to not remove or sell until vendor can be verified and approved by the County.
