This establishment is not participating in the award program at this time and had 2 Priority, 1 Priority Foundation violations on this inspection. A re-inspection will take place on or before 4/25/2024 to ensure Priority violation #49 has been corrected. Establishment will be closed until the next event.Of note: observed 3 comp sink with <150ppm quat when measured with a chemical test strip. Per chemical bottle, food contact surfaces must be sanitized in a solution measuring 200ppm. No active warewashing occurring at the time of inspection. PIC refilled compartment at 200pm. Advised PIC to measure concentration after filling every time rather than relying on a recipe.A copy of the report was emailed to the manager.No County legal action will result from this inspection.On July 1st, 2023, the Environmental Services Department started emailing permit card(s) and permit invoice(s) to permittees. Sanitizer levels were measured below the concentration the manufacturer's instructions. Discussed the importance of using a chemical test strip to ensure quat is maintained at the proper concentration per manufacture's recommendations(200ppm). PIC purchased new test strips at the time of inspection. Correct By: Corrected At Time Of Inspection
PRIORITY VIOLATION-5-202.13, P: Backflow Prevention, Air Gap ----- Observed the ice cream dipper well faucet stored below the flood rim of the dipper well at the surface level of the water. Observed a brace for the water supply line that had come unscrewed and was not holding the faucet above the flood line of the well. Advised PIC at least a 1 inch physical air gap is required to prevent contamination of city water. PIC was able to temporarily suspend the faucet at the level of the flood rim. A re-inspection will be conducted on 4/25/2024 to ensure a permanent 1 inch air gap is restored. Correct By: Correct Prior To Reinspection
PRIORITY VIOLATION-5-402.13, P: Conveying Sewage ------- Observed the only hand sink in the establishment dump water directly onto the floor when in use. PIC stated the drain line was in disrepair. Per PIC, employees are washing hands at the mop sink. Advised PIC sinks are intended to be used for their designated purpose only and a hand sink is required for operation. PIC halted operations while a service call was placed for the drain line. Hand sink was repaired at the time of inspection and food service was resumed. Correct By: Corrected At Time Of Inspection
