-- Observed multiple dry food items such as lentils, macaroni noodles, and instant mashed potatoes being stored in cabinet under the hand sink. Reviewed approved food storage with the person in charge: • Food must be protected from contamination in clean, dry location 6 inches above floor. • Exceptions to 6 inch rule: food in packages and working containers on case lot handling equipment, pressurized beverage containers, food in waterproof containers (bottles, cans), milk containers in plastic milk crates. Requested the items be moved to dry storage room or another cabinet at the time of inspection. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.
