The packaged beef jerky had a label name of "El Carnicero" but no stamp of inspection from AZ Dept of Agriculture or USDA. Observed no other labeling information required for retail sale on the package. The person in charge was unable to provide documentation of food source and stated a third party vendor provided the beef jerky as a promotional sample intended for sale.

Inspector's notes
Observed ice scoop being stored directly on the top side of ice machine in contact with equipment. Item was not being stored properly to prevent contamination from environment. Ice scoop was sanitized and placed in plastic container. In-use utensils must be stored in a clean, dry location; in running water; or in hot water above 135°F. If utensils are stored in food, the handles must be stored above the surface of the food. All in-use utensils were properly stored at time of inspection. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.
