Reviewed MCESD requirements for hand sinks: FDA Food Code Section 5-205.11 ("Using a Handwashing Sink-Operation and Maintenance") mandates that handwashing sinks must be used exclusively for washing hands. The designated hand sink is not to be used for any purpose other than handwashing. Requested the filter device be removed at the time of inspection and all employees be educated on MCESD hand sink limitations.
