#48 — Warewashing Facilities, Installed, Maintained, Used, Test StripsPriority foundation4-302.13

Inspector's notes

Observed establishment to have replaced low-temp warewashing machine with a high-temp warewashing machine. Irreversible measuring device for warewashing machine was not available at the establishment to verify temperature of machine. Sanitizing using high temperature warewashing machines requires an irreversible measuring device to ensure food contact surfaces reach 160°F. Provide approved irreversible measuring device prior to re-inspection. Electronic submission of proof of purchase prior to re-inspection is also acceptable. Corrective Action: Correct prior to re-inspection on 05/02/2025.

#51 — Plumbing Installed; Proper Backflow DevicesPriority5-205.12

Inspector's notes

Observed mopsink faucet equipped with atmospheric vacuum breaker being connected directly to a chemical dispenser with a hose. Shut-offs, including chemical dispensers and sprayer nozzles, are not approved for continuous installation downstream from atmospheric vacuum breakers. PIC removed shut-off downstream from atmospheric vacuum breaker at time of inspection. Discussed installing a quick-connect valve to ensure hose can be removed when not in use to prevent build-up of pressure against the atmospheric vacuum breaker. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.
