Inspector's notes
Observed facility using quat solutions in wash rag sanitization buckets. When tested, solution tested <150ppm using provided test strips. Upon inspection, wall quat dispenser did not have quat in container and facility did not have any quat at time of inspection. Facility did have a chlorine sanitizer, but did not have any test strips for the sanitizer. Test strips are required for any sanitizers used with food contact surfaces. Educated PIC on how to use chlorine for sanitization per directions on sanitizer. Provide sanitizer test strips or more quat prior to re-inspection. Correct prior to re-inspection on 2/14/25.

Observed a Y-valve installed downstream from AVB with one side connected to a hose and the other connected to a chemical dispenser. Shut-offs, including chemical dispensers and sprayer nozzles, are not approved for continuous installation downstream from atmospheric vacuum breakers. PIC removed shut-off downstream from atmospheric vacuum breaker at time of inspection. Informed PIC that a dedicated water line is required for chemical dispenser. Corrected at time of inspection.
