Observed container of sliced turkey stored above container of pepperoni in top portion of sandwich prep cooler ar 50*F. Cold hold to be 41*F or lower. As per the person in charge the sliced turkey was placed in this location 1 hour prior to inspection. Sliced turkey was placed in bottom portion to rapidly cool to 41*F. Advised staff to only store food in areas designed for cold hold. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.
