Observed sliced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, shredded cheese, american cheese, and burrito mix ranging from 44*F to 56*F in the prep table reach-in. Ambient temperature was 52.5*F using min/max thermometer. Person in charge stated the tomatoes, lettuce, american cheese, and shredded cheese were placed in the unit approximately 4 hours prior to inspection and relocated the items to the walk-in to rapid cool. PIC stated the burrito mix was in the unit since yesterday and voluntarily discarded - see embargo form. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.

Management for restaurant called MCESD regarding small fire in kitchen that occurred on 5/26/2024. Arrived on site and inspected area. The manager stated the fryer and vent hood that was damaged/impacted will be replaced. No other areas of the establishment were impacted. Advised management that a remodeling permit is required for replacing vent hood system. The establishment is currently closed to the public and plans to reopen on 5/29/2024. Pictures of the Scottsdale Fire Department approval to operate card, the vent hood unit getting replaced, and the vent hood system that will be used until repairs are completed has been uploaded in AA. Emailed a copy of the advisory report to operator. No county legal action will result from this inspection.
