MCEHC Chapter 8, Section 2, Regulation 6C -automatic shutoff of refrigerator was not operational during inspection. Ensure that automatic shutoff is functional and prevents micro-market unit from being opened when it is not able to maintain a cold holding temperature of 41°F or lower. Correct prior to re-inspection. Re-inspection will occur on or before: April 29, 2025.
Inspector's notes
Observed various time-and-temperature control for safety (TCS) foods, including tuna salad sandwiches, chicken salad sandwiches, egg & cheese sandwiches, yogurt, salads, and burritos with internal temperature of 51°F in reach-in refrigerated micro-market unit. Ambient air temperature of refrigerator unit measured 51.6°F. Building representatives taped off unit and called vending representatives. All TCS foods improperly cold held were discarded. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.

Observed refrigerated reach-in micro-market, containing TCS foods, with an ambient air temperature measuring 51.6°F. Vending company was called and a tech was sent to repair unit. No TCS foods shall be placed in unit until unit has been serviced and maintains an ambient air temperature of 41°F or below. Corrective Action: Correct prior to re-inspection
